Value Retail’s online Christmas Gift Guide was launched on 16 November 2009. Created by ILN (Illustrated London News) the multi-language gift finder microsites are personalised to each of Value Retail’s nine outlet shopping villages in Europe. The Gift Guides are centred upon 24 personas such as Ms Domestic Goddess and Mr Impossible that enable shoppers to choose stores with the perfect presents for their friends and family. Shoppers then download their personalised shopping itinerary on a map of the Village.

Value Retail offers leading fashion and luxury brands at attractive discounts all year round at its open air Villages. The nine Villages, located an hour or less from Europe’s favourite cities, deliver an outstanding shopping experience.

The Christmas Gift Guide marries ILN’s rich multi-language digital content creation with its engagement-led web-development capability. ILN has produced inspirational, interactive campaigns that will prove the web’s ability to drive increased footfall to the Villages and increase sales during the critical Christmas trading period.
